Orientation dates for students transferring from a coordinate campus are in mid-May. Sign-up for specific dates (space is limited) begins in late March. Orientation is a half-day introduction to the College of Liberal Arts. You will meet other transfer students with interests similar to yours and learn about degree requirements and opportunities in CLA, and you'll meet individually with your academic adviser and register for classes.

March 1 ~ deadline to apply for financial aid. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSA is used to determine your eligibility for federal, state, and University aid.

Take placement tests online. Depending on your goals, skill level and previous course work, you may need to take placement tests in math, chemistry, French, German, or Spanish. Placement tests help you avoid wasting time and money on classes that are too easy or too hard.

Complete both sections of the Online Orientation (available starting May 4) before your orientation date.
