Post Secondary Enrollment Options

Each degree-seeking student admitted for Fall semester must attend New Student Orientation and Welcome Week. Students participating in the PSEO program at the University of Minnesota have two options for fulfilling the orientation requirement. The options, including the eligibility requirements, are listed below.

Early PSEO Orientation
Date: April 2, 2009
Time: 5-8 p.m.
Eligibility:
1 year full-time enrollment during the 2008-2009 academic year
Paid the $160 confirmation fee by March 1, 2009 to Admissions

Students who attend the Early PSEO orientation, along with a separately scheduled advising appointment, will be able to register for fall courses in April.

New Student Orientation
Date: June 10-July 16
Time: 2-day overnight program
Eligibility:
Full or part-time enrollment during the 2008-2009 academic year
Paid the $160 confirmation fee after March 1, 2009

Students who choose to attend New Student Orientation in June or July will register for fall classes at that time.

An invitation to the Early PSEO Orientation will be mailed to eligible students in mid-March.
